Zagori is a region of Epirus, which is located north of Ioannina. It consists of 46 traditional villages. The area is known for the richness of its natural beauty, the traditional villages and its authentic culture.

Zagori is a region with outstanding natural beauty. The hillsides are filled with lush vegetation, forests, beech trees, firs and chestnut trees. The villages in this area are built at an altitude of 700 to 1500m providing a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
